About Our Knives

• All Tactical Edge knives are handmade using 1095 and 5160 (1/4") high carbon steel, along with 80CRV2. Our goal at Tactical Edge is to manufacture edged tools in the tradition of the American craftsman. In handmaking a knife, variations and tooling marks are inevitable. We do not make art - we make quality tools. That being said, we strive to make sure each knife is made with care and attention to detail.
• Like all carbon steels, care must be given to keep the steel in good condition. KEEP THE STEEL CLEAN AND OILED TO INHIBIT RUST!! We suggest you Lock Tite your mounting screws, once you have decided on the orientation of your belt attachment.
• Every knife is handmade, which means no two knives are exactly the same and slight variations in measurements are to be expected.
• Each Kydex sheath is molded to the individual knife and is not interchangeable.
• All Kydex sheaths and carry systems are made in-house.
