The Lineman is a fixed-blade hook/hawkbill knife, designed with the lineman in mind. The edge geometry is specifically designed for stripping the sheathing and insulation off wire without damaging the copper itself. It is not a thin, sharp edge like a Karambit, but rather a purpose driven tool for lineman electricians. This edged tool is made out of 5/32" 1095 high carbon steel, with a convex edge for long-lasting performance. Each blade is acid etched to inhibit rust. Since each knife is handcrafted, variations in the look of the blade and handle material are to be expected. Kydex sheath and belt clip included.
